BatchBunker — Support

A private, on-device journal for household freezer and refrigerator food-loss incidents.

Getting help

Email rhantho@gmail.com. Include the app version, iOS version, device model, screen, and steps that reproduce the problem. Please do not send private notes or photos unless they are necessary to explain it.

BatchBunker has no account or developer-operated server, so support cannot inspect your incident records. Only share information you choose to include in your message.

Record an incident

Choose Record an incident, enter the appliance and when you noticed the event, then save. Event start and restoration times are optional. Leave them blank if you do not know them; the app does not estimate missing times.

Add affected food and observations

Open a record to add food names, quantities, optional value estimates, and notes. You can also add a reading or other observation and label its source. These are user-entered records, not verified measurements.

Photos and sharing

Choose Attach a photo to select an image with Apple's photo picker. The selected image is stored with that incident on the device. Share incident report creates plain text and opens the iOS share sheet; it includes the photo count, not the photo files. You choose whether and where to share the text.

Data, backups, and deletion

Incident records stay in the app's on-device store. There is no BatchBunker account, app sync, or developer server. iOS may include app data in a device backup according to your settings. Deleting an incident also deletes its related food entries, observations, and attached photos from the app; separate device backups or files you chose to share may remain.

Food safety and insurance

BatchBunker records information you enter. It does not determine whether food is safe to eat, diagnose an appliance, interpret insurance coverage, or promise reimbursement. Consult current official food-safety guidance and your insurer for those decisions.
